As most of you know, Kitacon is only 2 weeks away!!!

Is anyone else feeling the stress yet?

I say every time I go to a con I'm going to be organised and get my cosplays finished well beforehand, and I never do!
Considering I'm only working on one costume right now it shouldn't be too much of a problem, but everything is proving more difficult then I thought, not to mention having time to do anything! But hopefully now I have two weeks off uni I'll manage to get stuff done in time.

So, who's going to KITA?
Who are you cosplaying? And is it finished?

In the Real World
I managed to pass my exams from uni. I have my final exams in about 6 weeks time. And then I'll be done with uni forever.
That's quite a scary thought, and I'm not too sure what I'll do afterwards. I guess I'll be getting a full time job within the legal sector while I try to get a training contract!

Overall, I had a wonderful time at Midlands Expo. I hope everyone else who attended did too! I was there as Quistis Trepe from Final Fantasy VIII
Expo came at a good time, after my exams finished and I have a week off before the next set of subjects start.

When we first got there to queue for tickets was huge, but it moved pretty quickly so we were only waiting around 20 minutes of so.

As soon as we walked into the actual Expo I spotted wings-of-crimson in her Dominique cosplay from The Bouncer. She was waiting in the queue to meet Hironobu Sakaguichi. She was with her sister who looked super cute in her little Pikachu costume.
I then proceeded to the back of the queue and eventually got to meet the man himself (made my life) and got a picture with him. He also singed my Tifa Wallscroll which now looks super awesome hanging on my wall

Now very much looking forward to Kitacon! I'll be starting my cosplay tomorrow. I'll be attending as Judith from Tales of Vesperia

I know I'm a few days late in posting this, but I've only been home a few hours since New Years Eve and just got round to it.

So Christmas is just over a week away. I hope you guys are more prepared than I am... I'm nowhere near ready. I still have a whole bunch of shopping to do.

As for the actual day, I'll be at work for most of it, then having a lovely dinner with my family. In all honesty, I'm looking forward to Boxing Day more so than Christmas, because I'm not working that day.

My life has recently been turned upside down, but right now I'm happier than I have been in a long time. My mom isn't being entirely supportive in my recent decisions sometimes it takes her a while to get used to change. But I think as long as she can see that I'm happy she's ok to be happy and let me get on with it.

Thankfully Uni finishes tomorrow, so I can have some time to relax and spend some time with everyone I haven't seen for a while. And get some cosplay plans in motion. I really need to start on my plans for Midlands and Kitacon, as these things have a habit of sneaking up on me.
